Roy Chaney

Coach Chaney has taught swimming since he was a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) in 1981.

Currently, Coach Chaney is the Aquatics/Fitness Director at the Manitou Swimming Pool & Fitness Center, Head Coach of the Manitou Springs High School girls swim team, and is Head Coach/Owner of the Colorado Torpedoes Swim Team.

Qualifications:

High School swimming Head Coach with the Harrison / Sierra High School Boys team

High School swimming Head Coach with the St. Mary's girls team

High School swimming Head Coach with the Manitou Springs girls team

Aquatics Director at the Manitou Pool & Fitness Center and certified Swim America Director of the lesson program

Total Immersion workshop-Freestyle clinic & coaches clinic

American Swimming Coaches Association Level 5 course work
