1)  You must notify The Athlete Village within 7 days of watching your analysis if you are not satisfied.  Email us at customerservice@theathletevillage.com for information on how to apply for a refund.


2)  You are only eligible for one refund.  Please do not place additional orders with The Athlete Village, LLC and request a refund.  It will be denied.

 CONDITIONS FOR USE OF COACHING ADVICE AND DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY


The Athlete Village, LLC is dedicated to providing athletes with the highest level of professional sport technique analysis via a web based community of coaches and athletes.  The independent coach consultants who review the uploaded videos produced by the athlete seeking consultation have been carefully selected for their expertise in the particular sport.  Just as with “in-person” coaching and training, the degree of success achieved by the athlete is a combination of the athlete’s ability and dedicated effort; access to effective training and performance techniques; and, the ability to absorb, apply and retain coaching advice.  All these components must be present to give the athlete the chance to achieve his/her maximum performance.  The Athlete Village provides some of the tools necessary, but the final result is still dependant on all of the factors.


Therefore, the services of The Athlete Village are conditioned upon the following:



  • SWIMMING is a strenuous sport.  You should ensure that you are in good physical condition before engaging in the sport and the training for improved performance.  You should  consult with your own health care provider to ensure there are no health issues that would impact your ability to participate in this sport or to apply the coaching analysis, techniques and training protocols you may receive through your participation in the Athlete Village community.

  • Because of the multiple factors that determine athletic performance and/or success in training and competition, The Athlete Village makes no guaranty that your performance will improve as a result of the technique adjustment or training protocols advice you receive from the independent coaching consultants.  The goal of The Athlete Village is to provide an opportunity to improve.

  • We all understand that participation in competitive athletics sometimes results in injury to the athlete.  The Athlete Village and its independent coaching consultants shall have no liability for any injury that may occur during (i) the preparation of the athlete’s video for uploading to the Athlete Village community for analysis or (ii) an athlete’s training or performance, including but not limited to, any attempt by an athlete to implement the advice received from an independent coaching consultant.

  • Although the Athlete Village has reviewed the credentials of the independent coaching consultants and selected some of the top coaches in a particular sport, it cannot guarantee that any particular coach is right for any specific athlete or the technique or training issues of such athlete.  The Athlete Village has no responsibility for the advice of an individual coaching consultant or the results derived from such advice.

  • Before applying any technique advice or training protocol, the athlete is responsible for understanding such advice or protocol and its application.  If the athlete has any questions, he/she should communicate with the independent coaching consultant and/or discuss with his/her local coach or trainer.

DISCLAIMER.  EXCEPT AS OTHERWISE EXPRESSLY SET FORTH HEREIN, THE ATHLETE VILLAGE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED.  THE ATHLETE VILLAGE DISCLAIMS ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTIBILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPPOSE OF ANY OF THE PRODUCTS OR SERVICES PROVIDED.  IN NO EVENT SHALL THE ATHLETE VILLAGE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL , SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, EVEN IF SUCH DAMAGES WERE REASONABLY FORESEEABLE.
