I swim with a Masters Group 3-4 days a week. I think I need to add some weight training / dryland training. Does anyone have some advice for a simple 30-45 minute workout?

Hi there,To really answer your question about weight training I'd need to know a little bit more a bout you: your age, ability level, goals, past weight experience, etc...Assuming your goal is to swim faster, generally speaking a few good things to start out working on would be full body movements mixed with some core stability and explosiveness. Swimming is a sport that uses your whole body to move down the pool as one unit, so including exercises such as squat jumps, plank, and wood chops in to your routine might help translate the strength you gain out of the pool to your swimming. If you are interested in a more specific programing please let me know and we can try to work something out!-Rob
A few good references
