Obviously, the textile vs tech suit has been a heated debate in the recent history of the sport. However, in my honest opinion, I don't know if the move to textile suits will have a significant impact on times. Most elite athletes are driven by the psychological aspect of the sport - if a swimmer knows that they will have to push a little extra to get over the "tech suit obstacle" then they will push that little extra and a lot more!
