We received an email the other day from gentlemen who took a pretty good spill on his bike.  Stitches, bruising, the whole nine yards.  It reminds us that traveling as fast as a car, on skinny little tires, in pack of other riders, with bad road conditions...can be hazardous.

I thought this was a good article on one injury that we hear a lot about in biking.

I really like this article by Sarah McLarty at Competitor.com.  She does a nice job breaking down freestyle for beginner swimmers and triathletes.  I especially enjoyed her opening line,
