A very disturbing topic that we can not ignore.

Our primary focus at the Athlete Village is helping athletes reach peak performance.  We do this not just for the glory of winning in the pool, but rather because we believe competing in sport to the best of your ability builds amazing people. 

It is impossible to love swimming, and not pay attention to the current turmoil which rocks the world of swimming.  Over the past few months the extent of sexual abuse within the sport, as well as the lack of action by governing bodies has surprised many fans.  This is the type of scenario that not only destroys the lives of those directly involved, but could diminish the things that we love about swimming for years to come.

Although reporting on this type of matter is not our core mission, it is impossible for us to ignore. In that light, we have created a page dedicated to following this developing story.
